Hey! I am Manan Rana, an undergrad student majoring in Biochemistry Hons. from Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi. During my time at high school, I held several leadership positions including the class prefect and managing a team for various competitions. I have been a part of an interdisciplinary group involved In developing hectic gloves for the ToyCathon competition organized by the Government of India and we managed to score 2nd position! Currently, I am empowered as an esteemed Ambassador within the Civil 20 program, an influential engagement group of the globally renowned G20 platform, exemplifying exceptional commitment and visionary leadership within the realm of global civil society.My interest lies in understanding complex signaling pathways, their outcomes, and enzymology. Figuring out so many molecules that get involved in signaling and the cell manages to keep a tight regulation of each, quenches my thirst for knowledge. Flaws in signaling pathways are one of the major causes of so many disorders like cancer and tumorigenesis. My goal is to work on these pathways and hopefully contribute advantageously towards treating these diseases.
