I completed my Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at Sakarya University, specializing in computer and information engineering, computer vision and machine learning. During my research tenure at Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, my focus was on the application of computer-aided detection (CAD) systems in endoscopy to improve diagnostic accuracy for Celiac disease (CD). I developed a hybrid machine learning methodology, integrating a context-based optimal multilevel thresholding technique for image segmentation and discrete wavelet transform (DWT) for feature extraction with scale-invariant texture recognition. This approach demonstrated superior performance compared to other state-of-the-art methods, affirming its accuracy, speed, and robustness. My research in this area represents a significant contribution to the intersection of computer vision and healthcare diagnostics.

Summary of Accomplishments• Distinguished record of leadership and accomplishments in developing strategic monitoring and reporting systems for renowned organizations, particularly with World Vision International Organization (WVIO). Spearheaded the creation of the Strategy Monitoring & Reporting System (SMARS), a comprehensive tool measuring and reporting country and child well-being indicators aligning with organizational strategy from FY2013 to 2018. The SMARS system effectively reported at all organizational levels, including Area Development Program (ADP), Regional, and National tiers.• Led the development of the Audit Monitoring System, catering to the financial audit needs of the World Vision Financial Reporting and Service Center (FRSC) from FY2009 to 2015 across various countries.
