- Managing production and technical activities of the Mine Engineering Department.-Lead and coordinate mine engineers and mine planning engineers;-Development of perspective mine development plans for life of mine, as well as provide timely preparation of budget (annual) and forecasts plans of mining operations on a quarterly basis;- Development of mine plan schedule;- Mining operations optimization and responsibility for timely preparation of annual (prospective) mining development plans, monthly reports on mining operations, etc.;- Continues improvement of mining processes;

–Short-term mining planning.–Optimization of mine development plans to ensure their compliance long-term targets.–Coordinate engineering activities and implementation.–Supervise operations of survey, geotechnical, drill & blast engineer, ore control.–Short term mine development designs.–Ore control (ore block model update, ore blending).- Operational instructions preparation of the Mine engineering department.

– Drill and blast operations supervision.– Blast holes and patterns design.– Design of blast holes initiation delays.– Preparation of monthly and annual drill and blast consumption reports.– Compilation and development of a monthly and weekly D&B plan.– Developing and implementation of the drilling and blasting operations improvements and cost reduction activities.– Explosives quality & consumption control.– D&B database management.– Budgeting, control and optimizing D&B Capex and OPEX.– Continuous improvement of drilling and blasting processes.– Implementation of new advanced technology of drilling and blasting operations in open pits.– Cooperating with D&B consultants and explosive suppliers.

– Monitoring and survey pit walls & waste dumps.– Pit walls stability inspection.– Assessment of potentially hazardous areas in the Pit (subsided areas, cracks, failures) and on waste dumps.
