Roles to look after safety aspect of 400kv D/C Samba Amagarh Transmission Line which includes Excavation, Erection of towers about 50 mtrs height and Stringing. Also shifting of tower bundles, concrete pouring and tower erection by using of Heli crane which was first time in India.

• Ensuring the implementation of EHS Management System & norms as per the IMS & EHS manual and EHS Policy.• Identifying Training needs, designing & imparting training for staff, visitor & workmen.• Appraising the line management on matters of noncompliance & facilitate compliance.• Conducting periodical site EHS inspections & report the finding for corrective actions.• Monitoring the evaluation of legal requirements as identified at prescribed frequency.• Organize campaigns, competitions, & special emphasis programs to promote EHS at workplace.• Advice the factory/divisional management on implementation of Safety principles.• Ensure compliance with the safety guidelines set forth by the Company through systematically auditing each phase of the program and submit written reports to management addressing all violations and recommending corrective action.• Conduct follow up audits to make sure all deficiencies are corrected.• Support the factory division when being audited by an internal or external party.• Co-ordinate and follow up for Factory/Divisional safety committee meeting.• Hand hold the safety observers for quality observations.• Conducts various safety awareness activities including reward and recognition programs.• Observing national safety week as a team member for plant Safety group.• Monitor & report all safety incidents as per standards• Respond promptly to make sure any accident is handled properly.• Assist with Incident Investigation to find out the root cause and help implementation of Corrective & Preventive actions.• Develop a reporting system which will keep factory management informed on all matters pertaining to safety.• Prepare internal reports on a monthly basis and circulate to all concerned
