During my one-year tenure, I gained practical experience in accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance.As part of the R2R function, I managed the entire accounting cycle, from recording transactions to generating financial reports. I maintained the general ledger, performed account reconciliations, and ensured the accuracy of financial statements in line with regulatory standards. This helped maintain error-free records, critical for decision-making and financial analysis.My role also involved GST and Taxation responsibilities. I played a key role in preparing and filing GST returns while ensuring compliance with deadlines. I collaborated closely with the tax team to ensure documentation accuracy and timely submissions, contributing to efficient tax compliance.I was proficient in using Tally and other accounting software to update books, post journal entries, and maintain the general ledger. I supported the preparation of trial balances, profit and loss accounts, and balance sheets for audits and client reports.Additionally, I actively contributed to audit preparation by assisting auditors with financial data and ensuring compliance with audit regulations. This experience enhanced my understanding of regulatory requirements and the importance of accurate financial reporting.Through this role, I developed key skills such as financial analysis, compliance management, and teamwork. My communication skills improved by working closely with clients to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies, further building my foundation in accounting, taxation, and audit support.
