My name is Manasseh, and I'm a User Experience Designer. From a young age, I was captivated by the art of drawing and design. It felt like my purpose on earth, driving me to create visual experiences that resonate with others.During my school days, while teachers were busy dictating notes, I found myself sketching the teacher or my classmates. I had conflicting thoughts about which path to pursue, but I fought against external opinions to follow my passion. Back then, studying art wasn't a popular choice, but my determination pushed me forward.In 2017, I embarked on my journey in graphics design, gradually immersing myself in branding projects. It was fulfilling to bring my ideas to life and help clients shape their brand identities. However, I encountered a recurring challenge – not all clients fully utilized my designs in real-life applications. This frustration motivated me to seek more impactful solutions.In 2022, I discovered the realm of product design, and I was immediately captivated by the opportunity to create design solutions that address real user needs. Eager to grow, I pursued courses and internships to gain a deeper understanding of product design. It became evident that aesthetically pleasing designs alone were insufficient; functionality and problem-solving were paramount.Driven by this realization, I shifted my focus to UX design. This decision marked a pivotal moment in my journey, propelling me towards becoming a more holistic and effective designer. Through various projects, I've had the privilege of creating impactful user experiences. For instance, I collaborated with a healthcare app startup to enhance their user onboarding process. By conducting user interviews and usability testing, I identified pain points and streamlined the registration flow. This resulted in a significant increase in user retention and positive reviews, demonstrating the impact of a well-designed and user-centric experience.One of the most rewarding aspects of my journey has been witnessing the impact of my designs on clients and users. my passion for design, coupled with my journey from graphics design to UX design, has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the power of user-centered solutions. I continue to embrace growth, constantly seeking opportunities to refine my craft and make a positive impact through meaningful design experiences.
