Pursuing my Master's Thesis while working with proteins part of the Ubiquitin cascade. Applying skills such as Cell culture, Transfection, Protein purification, Immunoprecipitation, Western Blotting, Gibson assemblies etc.

Pathology research intern. Part of R&D team dealing with microscopy, blood cancer identification and detection, lens optics, designing optical columns for microscopes, AI training, data logging and analysis. Main role involved microscope optical system designing and testing to achieve high resolution images of blood smears. Worked in a team setting along with members of different skillsets. Used software such as Beam 4 and AmScope digital microscopy software.

Extracted, amplified, and visualized DNA sequences on a daily basis using genetic techniques. Including ezRAD library prep. Also designed dozens of primers for polymerase chain reactions along with troubleshooting. Went for tag-and-release survey of coastal sharks using experimental longlines at Mote’s Marine lab, Sarasota Florida; involving 9 hours of fishing, sample collection, data recording, and measurement of various shark species. Was heading 2 projects along with assisting PHD student Eloise Cave in her dissertation work. Projects include- Mystery Shark (2019-2020) which included extracting and amplifying DNA from unpreserved Shark Jaw specimen to identify species; and Team MHC (2020-current), which Includes extracting and amplifying MHC (MHC I, MHC IIα, and MHC IIß) loci from litters of Carcharhinus plumbeus (Sandbar sharks) with multiple sires to study inheritance of the alleles.
