Founded Gush shoes & Accessories in 2013, a premium footwear and accessories label and one of India's first few brands to begin the Vegan and sustainable shoes trend. With over 1lac+ customers and a strong foothold in the footwear industry Gush is currently whitelabeling for major homegrown footwear and accessory brands across India and abroad.Manav shah also Co founded Upcycler’s Lab, a company that creates environment themed play based learning tools for children. The vision was to change mindset and behaviour around the environment. Upcycler’s Lab was selected as one of 10 startups supported by the DST (Govt. of India), DFID (Govt. of UK), Shell Foundation and Zone Startups as a part of their accelerator program – Powered. Upcycler's Lab was also selected as a part of Climate Launchpad by Climate KIC as well as a part of the Dutch World Startup Accelerator.Besides this, Manav has also worked as an Art director and for various brands such as Tata cliq, Caratlane, Netflix etc to produce beautiful imagery and videos for the brands portfolio and major marketing campaigns. He has also worked alongside fine artists to help design marketing collaterals and produce art shows/events.Prior to his entrepreneurial journey, Manav worked at JP Morgan as an analyst in the IB division. He also ran his first business which was in the transport and human resource services which scaled from 0 to 100 employees in less than a year. Educated in law, marketing and business, Manav is an alumnus of Jai Hind college in Mumbai.He is passionate to bring about a change current state of climate affairs through GUSH & Upcycler's Lab and looking to bring about a mindset and behaviour change in the future generations, through innovative tools and techniques.

In our case, to own a pair as soon as you see one (may be incorporate "to be a gusher" or "start gushing'). We interpret local aesthetics with a modern twist, using carefully handpicked materials and traditional 'karigari' or skills, deriving inspiration from our out of the box thinking, to make cruelty free, PETA approved products that connect with people no matter where in the world they are placed.The Indian-ness of GUSH lies in the shoe making process ,where materials pass through the hands of various skilled craftsmen, promoting the Indian tradition of hand-crafting and in turn creating unique pieces. Our focus is to primarily use behavioural science and play based learning techniques to change mindset around the environment. We present this through our award winning products that include board games on a host of topics such as waste segregation, ocean conservation, renewable power etc. Since we know most human behaviour is formed by age 9, our products are primarily created for and focused on ages 2-9. Our products themselves are sustainable in terms of the material that they use, they are made using recycled or FSC certifed paper and no plastic is used in varnishes and other manufacturing processes. Our designs are optimized for reducing wastage at the manufacturing level. DirectorDial-A-Drive Aug 2009 - Mar 2014Dial-A-Drive at its core was a Manpower recruitment and facility management service that came into existence in 2009 as a response to the series of serious accidents and a crack down by the Mumbai Traffic police on drunk driving. We were a very young team that took the responsibility to provide safe and reliable chauffeurs with background checks in the city. Initially we started off with supplying drivers only for the night but due to high demand we expanded our services to day drivers with corporates, individuals and for outstation trips.We were the one of the first in the city to send uniformed drivers who were reliable, professional and underwent a thorough 2 week training before they began and were capable of driving all automatic and manual cars. The services were reasonably priced so you need to worry about how to get home after a couple of drinks. We serviced over 50k trips and supplied our valets to 50+ hotels, restaurants, gyms, salons and bars in the city
