As a Data Analyst, my main focus is on using data to inform and improve business decision making. In this role, I am responsible for extracting and preparing data from internal databases using SQL/Excel in order to create analysis sets. This involves using SQL queries to access and manipulate the data, and using additional tools such as Excel or Tableau to visualize and analyze the data.In addition to these responsibilities, I am responsible for designing, building, automating, and maintaining business analysis, dashboards, and reports. This involves creating clear and concise visualizations of key business metrics, and setting up automated processes to ensure that these reports are regularly updated with the latest data.Furthermore, working with the managers and senior leadership team to ensure that the bottom-up and top-down budgets are aligned. This involves analyzing past performance data and using it to inform future budget projections.Finally, I assist with ad-hoc projects as needed, using my skills and expertise in data analysis to provide insights and support to the team.
