Hello Everyone.I'm Manazir. Nice to meet you!Although I graduated in urban planning from university in Germany (where I lived a total of 10 years), I have not worked in this sector ever since. Since moving to Cape Town in August 2021, I've been working in the city's vibrant business outsourcing industry, where various foreign language skills are in high demand, including German.This led me to an opportunity at Euro Center's Cape Town office, where I've been working as a Senior Assistance Coordinator for over two years (as of Oct 2024). Euro Center outsources for German insurance firms ERGO and DKV, where we assist policyholders with medical and travel emergencies and processing claims cases by coordinating with external providers and our Euro Center offices around the world.Would I ever go back to my learned industry of urban planning? Well, if an exciting opportunity in that field knocks on my door, I would certainly consider it. I am definitely looking forward to leaving South Africa within a year or two in order to achieve certain person and professional goals. Therefore, I am currently open to exciting opportunities in different fields in different countries, including Australia, Canada, Germany, The UAE, Oman, and Qatar (among others). For the time being, I'm also available to take on freelance side projects.As a quick learner, I am able to thrive in fast-paced environments, prioritize tasks, and achieve client satisfaction. I'm seeking to leverage my skills in effective communication, resolving complex issues, time management, and coordination with different departments in a new and exciting possibility.
