As the Head of External Relations, I am responsible for building and maintaining relationships with external organizations, speakers, and partners. This role involved coordinating with collaborations and representing the organization in external forums and discussions. I am also tasked with organizing opportunities for community service events for TAP members.

• Led the Readiness Assessment Workstream in Tanzania, developing tools to evaluate service providers to ensure project success.• Supported a UBS outcome-based project, impacting Tanzanian farmers by supporting initiatives focused on outcomes. • Developed research, analysis, and client deliverables, contributing to different presentations and proposals, and ensuring clear communication of complex technical concepts to clients and stakeholders.

•Provide consistent communications for public service programs throughout the year.•Design and disseminate the weekly Service to Society Newsletter, utilizing social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram)• Communicate key opportunities to the Yard Bulletin and House websites•Develop promotional “Service to Society” materials for collaborative events•Update the Phillips Brooks House website and produce guides to inform students of the variety of ways they can stay civically engaged.

• Spearheaded research workstream in a UNDP project focused on addressing the factors generating and mitigating biases against women entrepreneurs in India by using behavioral science insights. • Led the research to develop a behavioral science toolkit that goes beyond creating awareness of unconscious biases to sharing evidence-backed strategies from other fields to identify, address, reduce, and challenge gender biases for women entrepreneurs in India.• Conducted desk research on women’s entrepreneurship, including qualitative insights with 8-10 ESOs (entrepreneurship supporting organizations)/capital providers/investors and women entrepreneurs.

•Assisted with research projects, expert conferences, and outreach efforts as the center seeks to spread research ideas into the world of practice.•Helped plan the CID Speaker Series each semester by selecting and interacting with high-level visitors.•Wrote blogs and briefs for the website, interviewed development experts through CID’s many podcast series

The nation’s first legal clinic focusing on dispute systems design and conflict management. Participated in dispute systems design seminar and engaged in semester long client work. Clients include U.S.-based and international and include private corporations, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and community groups. Developed critical problem-solving skills, applied theory to practice, and delivered tailored conflict management solutions to client.

•Co-founded the first ever Congolese American political mobilization organization in order to help unite and organize the Congolese American community through civic engagement and policy. •Created the website and social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) for the organization to assist in centralizing communication and serving as virtual community centers for the politically active Congolese American community. •Spearheaded a “Get-Out-the Vote” virtual event with over 100 attendees and special guest, Ambassador Michael Battle, the former Ambassador to the African Union and facilitated a discussion on Africa’s role in the global economy with a keen focus on the DRC and its role in U.S.---foreign affairs. •Assisted the Biden campaign by translating the Africa Foreign Policy Statement into Swahili and French to be distributed to members of the African community.

•Co-Founded this non-profit which allowed children in the developing countries of Ghana and Nigeria to receive quality higher education. •Aided with amassing over 4,400 likes on Facebook and Instagram in a single month of launching the non-profit organization.•Spearheaded fundraising initiatives to garner monetary support to help sustain and grow the program.•Reviewed scholarship applications for deserving high school students in Ghana and Nigeria.

-Provided business consulting and strategic investment in order to support under resourced microenterprises in Léon, Nicaragua.-Participated in a week-long service-learning experience and worked with a local micro-enterprise to improve the success and sustainability of the business.-Developed a cash-flow chart, inventory tracker, and an inventory list for Sylvia Rojas who owned a Pulpería in Nicaragua.

-Worked with international clients requiring assistance in their international employment practices.-Conducting researching on key national Acts affecting the immigration landscape of the United States.-Assisted a multitude of clients in the processing of VISA forms to assist their operational needs and goals. -Prepared memorandums and briefs to illuminate unanswered legal questions particularly in the practice of immigration law.

•Assisted in planning and hosting the SCMUN for middle and high school students.•Connected with UN officials and representatives and invited them to attend campus events for recruiting and exposure purposes.•Assisted in the planning of the TrojanMUN intercollegiate conference, ranked the top Fall conference on the West Coast by the best delegate. •Participated in the thought-provoking discourse regarding international affairs and policy during weekly meetings and events.

•Collaborated on an initiative to rename one of the buildings on campus in light of discoveries made against the individual it was named after—Rufus Bernhard Von Kleinsmid, the fourth president of the University. As of June 2020, the building has officially been renamed to the Center for International and Public Affairs. •Assisted in establishing a pop-up Dreamers Center to grant access to resources undocumented students need.•Assisted in the execution of Homelessness Awareness Week on the university campus and hosted multiple events to draw awareness to student homelessness and homelessness in the Los Angeles community.•Collaborated on initiatives centered on increasing black student enrollment, establishing a shelter for homeless students, and establishing a diversity and emergency student fund.
