This includes dealing with any face to face complaints from guests, staff issues, checking rooms are cleaned to standard and ready for arrivals, restaurant is serving guests and customers correctly.• Manage and maintain HR records for every member of staff. • Check time-sheet completion and payroll tracker information from each department are completed correctly, this is for c60 staff.• Run payroll on a monthly basis using SAGE system.• Undertake annual stock take for each department at year end. • Process invoices, revenue and bank statement information onto SAGE and ensure suppliers are paid in a timely manner.• Responsible for ensuring the weekly ledgers and cash takings balance.• Control petty cash ensuring guidelines are adhered to and relevant paperwork is completed correctly. Check the cash held each week and ensure monies banked.• Action reference requests in a timely manner.• Manage all stationary orders for the hotel, including branded items.• Assist the sales department during busy periods.• Ensure rota is set and given to the Leisure team. Process members direct debit payments each month using Cashbacs system.• Deal with any staff queries on behalf of the General Manager.• Write and issue monthly newsletter, to keep staff informed of events at hotel and what is going on, when. • Implemented and manage STAR of the month recognition award within the hotel.• Chair and manage monthly staff meeting – to encourage bottom up management and so staff have a chance to feedback issues or raise ideas on better working practice.
