About Mandar Karanjkar

Mandar is an author, speaker and musician based in Pune. Mandar is a co-founder of Baithak Foundation, a not-for-profit organization working to preserve and promote Indian Classical Music. Baithak conducts a wide range of activities- from teaching Indian Classical Music in under privileged schools to conducting music appreciation sessions to promote Indian Classical Music. Mandar is Co-founder of Seed Shower, a consulting firm operating in the domains of communication development and organizational culture. Seed Shower specializes in two activities- developing content and conducting corporate talks. Mandar has thoroughly studied Indian philosophy and Indian Classical Music. He is a published author with two books on his name and has written columns for some of the most reputed newspapers. Mandar has interviewed many world renowned artists including Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Pt. Jasraj and corporate personalities including MDs and CEOs of few of the most respected companies in India. He was presented with Ramanil Award by Alumni Association of COEP. Mandar is Founder Secretary of Philosophy Club in the Institute. He bagged first prize in Ignited Innovators of India S- Plan competition which was organized by Deshpande Foundation of Gururaj Deshpande.
