Head of Process Control (Electrical & Instrumentation). Setting up a grassroots chemical plant in Jhagadia, Gujarat. It included several process plants, a 66KV switchyard, a Gas Turbine based Captive Power Plant and HRSG, other utilities. Control Systems were Emerson Delta V, Delta V SIS (Safety Instrumented System) for one set of plants and Honeywell Experion for some of the other plants. Prior to this, successfully managed the decommissioning, decontamination and dismantling of the Rubber Chemicals plant in Thane and shifting parts of it to a new site in Gujarat.Prior to this project, I worked on setting up of a grassroots chemicals manufacturing site in Tongling, China. Was also responsible for detail engineering and transferring process know how to the local management. Worked in Shanghai and Tongling (Anhui province).

I was in charge of Electrical & Instrumentation activities at Bayer India Ltd. This included maintenance activities as well as projects (including plant revamps, design engineering, modifications)

Started career in Herdillia Chemicals Limited (now acquired by SI Group) at New Bombay as a Management Trainee in the Engineering department (Instrumentation section). During my tenure I was responsible for analyzers, field instrumentation as well as DCS/PLC systems in the plants. I also worked on design & detail engineering for some expansion projects. At the time of leaving I was working on a Captive Combine Cycle Power plant.
