Senior Manager Of Accounting
CurrentOverseeing General Accounting:•Supervising a team of 15 professionals handling GL Accounting tasks such as cash concentration, bank entries, workers' compensation, and GLA Accounting for the Middle East and South Africa regions.•Managing the SAP Master data group, ensuring activities are performed within agreed SLA and accurate and timely reporting to higher management.Managing Process Transitions:•Leading the transition of work processes across Fluor Corporation's various locations to enhance efficiency and standardization.Managing Accounts Payable and Disbursement:•Supervising Accounts Payable operations in key regions such as the USA, Greece, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, and Malaysia, while handling Disbursement tasks for all Fluor Corporation locations.•Utilizing advanced AP Workflow functionality in SAP to process invoices, expense reports, and petty cash.•Serving as the subject matter expert for Accounts Payable and generating audit reports.•Leading payouts, ensuring adherence to payment terms, and collaborating with the Master Data team for vendor setup/update.Conducting Financial Reporting and Compliance:•Generating multiple reports for senior management and compliance purposes, including SOX404 and SEC regulations.•Reviewing processes to improve efficiency and automation, leading process improvement initiatives.Managing General Accounting and StatutoryCompliance:•Managing General Accounting responsibilities for the Middle East & South East Asia Region, including account analysis, month-end close activities, and coordinating with external audit firms for statutory and tax audits.Overseeing Fixed Assets Management:•Managing Fixed Assets Accounting, recording asset-related entries on SAP, preparing reports per US GAAP requirements, and ensuring compliance with SOX,Internal Audit and SEC requirements.Facilitating Transition Management and Streamlining:•Facilitating the transition of activities from counterparts & establishing streamlined processes
