Recruited directly out of McMaster University, I was hired to develop and maintain Blue Relay, which is our flagship document process automation software package, in use by several Fortune 100 companies.My role was to improve the UI, and upgrade the application from AngularJS to Angular. Working in collaboration with graphic designers, we were able to break down new screens into tasks, modernize the screen flow and reduce the amount of Javascript. We were able to quickly add and extend new features as requested by clients.Promoted and relocated to the Professional Services team in Manhattan to work with Enterprise Clients. Projects included an interactive dashboard application that visualized ad campaign data for PadSquad. This enabled stakeholders to track progress and evaluate a given campaigns effectiveness. For IBM we developed and maintained a marketing tool that allows product managers and executives to gauge user sentiment for product offerings for IBM’s Chief Analytics Office. Met with key stakeholders to understand and gather requirements to design accurate and effective interfaces. During this project I collaborated with users and development teams to provide solutions and illustrate customer preferences. We implemented, tested and supported this application in IBM’s production environment, following a rigorous methodology. On another project, working in conjunction with the AWS Machine Learning team for Vodafone, we built a fraud detection system that allows analysts and supervisors to track, monitor and resolve potential fraud cases. This includes the ability to file and review claims, view your plan member card, review your benefits, and view health spending account information. Was a quality assurance engineer automating manual testing for Green Shield Canada's mobile application using the Xamarin Test Cloud for the Android and iOS platforms. This resulted in higher volume, more reliable, accurate, robust test cases over manual efforts. Also contributed to building an ASP .NET MVC Web Application for Appleby College, writing code that allowed professors to create class websites, create/set user permissions, and upload files.
