This was originally a 4-week long internship that turned into a yearlong experience after the project continued at my university when I returned to school. The internship was working on site at la Universidad Nacional de Colombia to begin research and design of a portable EEG device for canine use during landmine detection (project described later). When the project continued at Washington State University, I worked with a newly built team (myself being the only member from the original internship) continuing progress with building a portable EEG and canine headgear that has adjustable and attachable external dry electrodes.
