Mandi Murph is passionate about understanding the molecular biology of cancer and oncology education. She earned her PhD in Biology from the Georgia Institute of Technology and received her Bachelors in Science degree from Emory University, both in Atlanta. She graduated with her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in July 2022 from Georgia Southern University. Previously, Dr. Murph trained as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. She worked as an Associate Professor with tenure at the University of Georgia for 13.6 years, specializing in molecular cancer research and educating undergraduate, PharmD and graduate students about anticancer therapeutics. She earned a certificate in Pharmacogenomics from the University of Colorado Denver. In 2022 and 2023, she worked as an Associate Medical Director for Physicians' Education Resource. Dr. Murph enjoys traveling the globe with her husband of 20+ years and spending lots of time raising two daughters. Limited free time is spent learning new skills, walking her dogs or playing ice hockey.
