Solid expertise in regulatory compliance, finance and governance against the backdrop of a wide breadth and length of experience in many types of organisations, private/commercial and non-profits at senior levels.Over 30 years experience in the financial services industry, Senior Vice President regulatory compliance / AML and finance roles, over a broad range of companies and with different nationalities. I have often had multiple roles attached such as Company Secretary, Data Protection Officer and a few more. Working with senior management, Boards, governance committees, both internal and external audits, investment risk monitoring, clients, regulators and staff as well as advising on the regulatory impacts to all areas of the business whilst being commercially aware to keep the business goals in sight. Regulations are constantly changing, as a result, I have been involved and led various projects to ensure the business complies with the deadlines set. This involves project and change management.All my roles have involved systems implementations to help mitigate regulatory risks, and provide scalability and automation, giving me an excellent appreciation of how to harness technology and demonstrate compliance and governance.I understand how to manage business growth. Some of my roles have been in small / start-up scenarios where I have managed growth by ensuring an operating infrastructure and appropriate staffing exist. Working with charitable and non-profit organisations, I have gained a strong operational understanding of these organisations as well.More recently, my focus has moved toward charities, places of worship, community development and in creating my own online business and income.
