Hi, Mandira here 👋 Over the years, I have had opportunities to work in several projects from inception to completion in a couple of different industries, partaking in various roles alongside many diverse teams in Nepal and in the UK. One of the key realisations I have had since is that the moments in which we plateau for minutes or even for hours on end could potentially be the key growth catalyst we need for our professional evolution. Instead of getting laid back or ignoring such moments altogether, allowing ourselves to persist, sometimes for just a tad bit more can open a whole new perspective for us that we never thought could exist. That hard-fought perseverance will eventually unlock ourselves a newly developed self, just like a character upgrade in video games. Experience is not how much time we spend but how we spend our time, and identifying those key growth catalysts and trying to work them out create a far more robust experience than just riding it out and calling it ‘an experience’. Although this is not the latest discovery by any stretch, realising it and trying to live by it mindfully makes the difference. Apart from riddling out everyday conundrums at work, I like exploring different cuisines, travelling, reading and listening to podcasts and music, often whatever Spotify recommends. I also have a passion for volunteering which I have tried to keep alive through my involvement in the Girlguiding community where I work with girls aged 5-7 every week. I am also a novice plant parent, a kimchi lover and a popular cat sitter amongst my friend circle who also adores dogs nonetheless.
