As the Economic Development Coordinator, Mandi was responsible for meeting with potential industrial, employment and developers interested in developing in the Town of Buckeye. The Town was in the embryonic stages of development during my time with them, with over 240,000 homes planned and a vast portion of economic corridors to be developed in their 625 square mile planning radius. As the primary contact for prospects, a liaison between Intergovernmental departments, and a source of information to the public regarding the Town's Planning and Development efforts, this position afforded me the opportunity to comprehend the overall planning and development processes. While working with Economic Development for one Arizona's largest growing municipalities, I was able to experience the "macro" side of development, from the master planned community concepts to the importance of commercial centers and employment corridors. This position has truly impacted her perspective of Residential Real Estate through allowing her to to understand the community aspects of planning and zoning, building permitting, and the importance of the vitality of Economic Development within the community. Bringing this knowledge to her real estate career, she is able to add value to clients through sharing a global community perspective of purchasing a home, and how location will affect values and potential wealth.
