Currently working with physical rehabilitation patients with different neurological and orthopaedic conditions. My therapeutic aim is to help them adaptively reintegrate back into the meaningful day to day lives, regardless of their physical circumstances.

I’m a student tutor and advisor in the faculty of health sciences. My job mainly entails of assisting pre-clinical year students with what they require at the time or refer to relevant structures if the query is beyond my scope of work or knowledge.

In this 2nd tier residence, mentoring was different as students had a lot more pressure but also wanted more privacy and preferred to be alone more. It was challenging but manageable. My duties included checking up on fellow students on my floor and referring to Subwardens or wardens if the need arose.

This job required me to help first year students with basic computer training, the university’s portals such as Myuct emails, Peoplesoft and Vula and with programs such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

My work as a floor mentor required me to do regular door to door checking on students allocated to me in the residence. To be a sister and a friend to those in need while away from home.

It’s June now, I’ve had the utmost best experience practicing in a district hospital in the North West. I have so much love for my patients and colleagues and I’m learning so much while discovering so much about my own skills and innate compassion for people. Love this job and I can’t wait to develop my knowledge and skills in more clinical and academic settings. Future is bright!✨

I worked for a year and a few months at a local community radio station where I co hosted a morning youth show called Bridging The Gap. My contract was extended after I did outstandingly well and I was given a show to host on my own. I had to resign from this part time job in my matric year.
