Seventeen years as a primary care PA I feel a strong dedication to rural health care in high need communities like the Adirondacks. I had the privilege to work for the National Health Services Corps in Dixie County Fl from 2001-2003. This completed my obligation to the Corps for one year of Scholarship for PA school. My immediate goal is to work closely with the partners in our regional Rural Healthcare Initiative to maintain and improve healthcare delivery in our Critical Access ER. This requires close working realtaionships with the medical staff at Moses Ludington and local hospitals and trauma centers. It also requires continuous awareness of updates in EBM . It is the dream job for anyone in medicine with avid intellectual curiosity and the ability to utilize that knowledge in a necessary and immediate purposeful manner.
