Program Manager on the Medicare Quality Management team; identifies and understands target audiences and their specific program needs and develops specialized programs accordingly; directs and coordinates activities to implement program objectives and reach program goals; business owner of all member surveys for both Medicare and Commercial/Marketplace lines of business (CAHPS, HOS, ECHO, plan-sponsored surveys); manages vendor relationships and negotiates, administers and monitors program contracts; tracks and analyzes survey data for trends; documents and presents program results to various work groups and committees through operational reports, outcomes studies, presentations and publications; owns and makes needed decisions to ensure the successful resolution of all issues, problems and changes within programs to successfully meet program goals; researches and writes proposals, articles, and reports; designs appropriate patient health education materials; vast knowledge of HEDIS and Stars ratings as well as proficient experience in annual HEDIS data collection process and procedures; ensure that programs meet appropriate regulatory and accreditation standards; leads work groups and committees; collaborates with various business areas throughout the company.

Participate in program design, data collection and evaluation; prepare and submit periodic project reports; present findings to community and professional groups as appropriate; cultivate relationships with local and statewide community and health organizations; research and assist with grant writing for continued funding of current projects and securing funding for proposed projects; assist with journal article submissions; teach health literacy-based classes in the community, for both parents and children; develop health and safety curriculum and teach health and safety classes to Beyond Academics students; conduct health literacy research; attend and present at state and national meetings and conferences; responsible for health literacy projects throughout Guilford County and work closely with staff to promote projects state-wide; serve as a co-chair on the Guilford County Health Literacy Forum; assist with the evaluation of Beyond Academics as well as serve as Chair for the Beyond Academics Quality Improvement Team; assisted with evaluation of the Parent Information Resource Centers (PIRC) program state-wide, under the U.S. Department of Education; conduct focus groups for various agencies and organizations within the community; and manage the Project SHINE health literacy program with 10 sites and 25 AmeriCorps members, which works with immigrant and refugee families.

Responsible for assisting Tanglewood associates and senior researchers with a variety of tasks, including survey data entry, administration of surveys, sales calls, product/program exhibits at conferences.

Responsible for keeping class on target with class assignments and keep established routine in place as much as possible. Responsible for safety and well-being of students.

Responsible for meeting sales goals (personal, store, and district goals); Customer service- ensuring customer satisfaction; Store operations- inventory, loss prevention, handling payroll issues; Associate development- supervise and coaching of associates, and personnel management.

Responsibilities included serving as the clinical contact & resource person for clinicians in community health centers, the homeless health clinic, and Planned Parenthood of Utah. Responsible for promoting continuing education, developing a mentoring program, and developing a clinical network. Responsible for distributing clinical information, promoting the program’s services, and promoting the Pharmacy Services Program. Responsible for desktop publishing and distributing a monthly news bulletin and a quarterly clinical directory. Responsible for developing and promoting a clinical orientation manual, to be used by health centers when recruiting and training clinicians. Assisted in grant writing for PEP program.
