Provides leadership and oversight to campus tour operations, visitor experience, Poly Reps University ambassadors, local school outreach initiatives, event planning and coordination, student mentorship program development, and on and off-campus community collaboration. My work in higher education is inspired from a social justice and equity lense, with a focus on creating programming and initiatives that support students from socioeconomicaly disadvantaged or underrepresented backgrounds .

I collaborate with community-based organizations (CBOs), government and non-profit organizations, school districts, and school counselors across California that support first-generation, underrepresented students. I research and develop mentorship curriculum and programming for prospective high school and transfer students. I provide both in-person and virtual programming support to all admission and yield related activities for Cal Poly Admissions and Recruitment (admission information sessions, virtual sessions, on and off-campus events). I also coordinate and plan events via collaboration with campus partners (academic colleges, departments, student clubs and organizations) for programming.

I work as an Admissions Officer for Cal Poly Outreach and Recruitment. I work closely with prospective high school and transfer students during the application and admission yield processes. I advise prospective students on the Cal Poly admission selection criteria during high school visits and college fairs. I lead our facility reservation and admission presentation scheduling processes. I also coordinate outreach events targeting underrepresented and high achieving students via collaboration with high school counselors, parents/supporters, and on-campus staff, faculty and students.

I worked as an Admissions Advisor and contributed to processing applications, evaluating residency documents to make residency status determinations, processing application edits, evaluating admission eligibility, and completing transcript verifications. I assisted in answering prospective and current student phone and email inquiries directed to the Admissions department.
