• Lead the strategy and delivery of a capability & capacity review assessing the capabilities and funding levels the Commission requires to deliver upon its statutory role. Followed by a review of the Commission’s Operating Model, focusing on how the Commission should best configure itself to respond to its operating environment and deliver on strategic priorities. • Establish programme function, set up and build a cross-functional team to deliver the Commission’s target operating model roadmap, to allow the Commission to mature its core functions, and strengthen it strategically to keep pace with the changing needs of voters and its operating environment.

• A member of the executive team, contributing to the Commission’s strategic planning and governance over two general elections, two local body elections and Māori Electoral option.• Collaborate and lead across the organisation to design, plan and deliver electoral events, improving outcomes and supporting a healthy democracy.• Lead the strategy development and delivery of enrolment and community engagement services ensuring the integrity of the General, Māori and Unpublished Electoral rolls. Risk management safeguarding enrolment systems, electoral data, and maintaining the trust and confidence in the eligibility of voters for electoral events. • Design and delivery of kanohi ki te kanohi and digital community engagement services, facilitating participation in electoral events through educational and motivational strategies. • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and priority groups to improve outcomes for Māori, Pacifica Peoples, Ethnic Communities, Disability Communities, and youth.• Leading, developing, and motivating cross-functional permanent and large temporary teams, including national office functions of business improvement, project management, learning and development, enquires management, and regionally based front-line service delivery teams based across Aotearoa. • Accountable for a $50 million budget, (over the three-year cycle) making every dollar count in delivering on priorities, through excellent financial management and investment.

• Management of the National Cervical Screening Register contractual arrangements, including negotiation and provision of additional statements of work, key performance indicator reporting and financial management of $3 million per annum budget.• Lead the delivery of processing and quality assurance activities of national cervical screening results, provision of communications and complaints management.• Lead hosting and infrastructure services, database management, support services and application development, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning through a team of IT specialists.• Key stakeholder management, building strong relationships with the National Screening Unit Leadership team, NCSP Clinical leaders, District Health Boards, and nationwide laboratories.

• Leadership and people management of a diverse operational team of eighty staff across two shifts, working with confidential client data, and delivering to daily/weekly/monthly service level agreements. • Service delivery management focusing on good workforce management, innovation, and an excellent customer service ethos to meet client expectations and increase the profitability of the business unit.• Project management, working collaboratively with project and technical teams both internally and externally to ensure implementation of client solutions. • Building strong stakeholder relationships with clients including ANZ, Kiwibank, Department of Internal affairs - Births, Deaths and Marriages, MSD – Student Loans and NZ Police – Infringements.
