I had 10 years of professional graphic design experience before deciding it was time to take the leap and attempt running my own gig. In my self-employment adventures, I love collaborating with the whole spectrum: massive companies down to tiny "what-if-I-did-this" thoughts. This contrast really creates so much balance in the type of work I'm exposed to, and has challenged me to push my design muscles. I'm so grateful to all of my clients who have trusted me with their brand.My side hustle is personal training and nutrition coaching. I love helping people invest time and effort into uncovering their best "self". Whatever that looks like. People are powerful when they realize and appreciate their potential. That's a really neat thing. Funny how designers kind of help brands realize the same thing.

IdeaCloud is a sister company to Contravent. I was able to get involved in this in the very early stages of business development as employee #5. I strategized and designed experiential/interactive stories (simulations) helping tech companies easily communicate the power behind their technology. Lots of problem solving, branding, UI, creative direction, copy writing, and constantly thinking about how to elevate the customer experience throughout.

In-house designer for TuVous. I designed the logo, and was the designer through the entire company-launch process. I have had the opportunity to design everything from packaging to socks. Other responsibilities include: product photography/editing, photo shoot styling, brand managing, social media marketing, brochures, banners, party invitations, tags, packaging, office branding, flyers, handouts, corporate collateral, and swag design.

This was my first work experience in the design industry after graduating. I started as an intern, and was soon promoted to Junior Designer. I learned how to collaborate with a creative team, work with a wide variety of clients, meet intense deadlines, and prioritize and manage multiple clients at once. Technically I learned how to: create packaging dielines, set up files to send to printers, web design, create and design product catalogs, event graphics and swag, product photography, and photo editing/retouching.
