Getting to know our clients on a deeper level, and hitting their business milestones, is what I especially enjoy about being a CPA. This is what I’ve always strived for, and when I became partner at Davis & Hodgdon (D&H) in 2015, I knew I could offer even more value to our corporate and individual clients.My specialties concentrate on financial reporting and tax planning for closely held companies, audit, individual, and corporate taxation. Before D&H, I worked for Siliski & Buzzell, which became Davis & Hodgdon Associates CPAs upon their merger in July 2015. John Davis, the firm’s founder, became partners with Bret Hodgdon in 2005. I’m honored to join them as one of three partners, as well as manage our Rutland office.D&H prides itself on being different than other firms, and it’s the number one reason I’m pleased to be a part of their team. We take a personal approach to working with our clients whether they are new to us or have been a long-time, loyal customer.Our firm also takes a strong stand in our communities where we both work and play. As an active member of the Rutland community, I enjoy volunteering as treasurer of the Rutland County Humane Society. When I first joined Siliski & Buzzell, I also worked as an accounting professor at Castleton State University, my alma mater. I earned my CPA designation, and furthered that knowledge in a master’s program at the University of Connecticut.I’m honored to be a member of Vermont Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
