My journey at UNOH began in high school, where I initially joined as an intern and later transitioned to a full-time role as Graphic Designer working within an in-house agency model. UNOH, a unique institution with diverse colleges including the College of Business, College of Applied Technologies, and Beauty Academy, provided me with a platform to hone my design skills while offering a distinctive blend of opportunities.Key Contributions and Responsibilities:• Mastering Creative Software: I became proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and other software both in and out of the Adobe suite. These skills were crucial in delivering top-quality design work, which often required meticulous planning and organization.• Comprehensive Content Production: As the sole person responsible for photography and design for the University and umbrella organizations, I undertook the monumental task of documenting every aspect of university life. This included capturing everything from student life and and athletic team/action photos, to interns conducting pit stops on NASCAR team cars at Daytona International Speedway. I was tasked with not only photography, but also was responsible for brainstorming and developing content that went into the final print materials.• High-Performance Motorsports: Within the College of Applied Technologies, I collaborated with prominent figures in the motorsports industry. I designed logos for sanctioned NASCAR and NHRA races, working alongside notable drivers and some of the top names in NASCAR leadership.• Executive Interactions: My work afforded me the opportunity to collaborate directly with the VPs of the university, contributing to high-level marketing strategies and initiatives. This experience early in my career instilled in me a keen sense of discretion, particularly when working in a high-level corporate environment and interacting with influential individuals.
