Mandy is a Fundraising Consultant for non profit organisations. Her current projects include an appeal helping to raise £2 million for a charity in Shropshire. She identifies fundraising opportunities with Charitable Trusts and Foundations and finds prospective donors for cIients. She researches and sources funding 'leads ' and prepares a case for each defined opportunity. Her role also involves preparing and making funding applications on behalf of clients, and writing detailed letters presenting cases for funding. She undertakes all aspects of trust fundraising on behalf of clients.Mandy's prospect research enables her to identify the most suitable donors – since 2011 she has researched and identified over 850 potential funding opportunities for a charity which helps the disadvantaged elderly.She provides business advice to organisations, and recently helped a developing charity (2013), to determine a strategic growth plan, identifying short, medium and long term goals and how they can best achieve these.Mandy helps non profit organisations to develop fundraising programmes which can lead to them maximising their income. She has raised funds (2012-13) for a wildlife charity helping them with their move to larger premises and with the expansion of their organisation.Mandy works with community volunteers /event organisers to generate new ideas and opportunities, and to provide advice on CSR and funding opportunitiesShe enjoys being able to help charities and is glad to be able to help 'make a difference'.
