I'm responsible for teaching students the Utah State learning standards, and do so with a data-driven approach. My goal is to provide a safe and engaging learning environment for students by using differentiated approaches to teaching. Over the years I've become passionate about meeting the needs of individual students, and providing them with a quality education. This is done by consistently taking the time to learn and implementing effective instructional techniques. In addition to responsibilities within the classroom, I've served as the Lead for the Response to Intervention Team at the Saratoga Springs Campus. Our primary goal as a team is to ensure that educators receive the tools and resources needed to ensure students receive the necessary supports to be as successful as possible with their learning.

In addition, I'm entrusted with managing a classroom by using effective instructional techniques and teaching pedagogy. While teaching, I've served in various leadership and coaching capacities. Some of these examples include working as Team Lead, a Teacher Mentor, as well as working as a Lead and point of contact for a Response to Intervention program. In these roles I assisted in coaching teachers in meeting the individual needs of students.
