Part of the Thermal Facilities group providing general process, project management and facilities engineering support to Operations and Sustaining Capital projects. Act as the primary facilities contact with Production and Exploitation - Depletion as well as the Remote Steam Plant Contact Engineer. Support day to day facilities and plant optimization and constraint issue resolution efforts. Performed equipment design for Conceptual and Basic Engineering phases for a modular SAGD design. Completed the Economic evaluation for several projects. Provided the support to Environmental Contractors for completion of Regulatory applications.

Was regulatory lead for the technical aspect of the project in order to complete the Regulatory application.Progressed and help develop the Economic Model for project evaluation.Began the steps to initiate the First Nations Consultation on behalf of Oak Point.Performed equipment design for Conceptual and Basic Engineering phases for the UltraLite project.

* Modified and made improvements to the tool that was designed in the previous work term for the operations engineer that trends air cooler efficiency. It is used to assist in setting cleaning schedules and maintenance planning (preventing HEX tubes and air intakes plugging). * Attended daily operations meetings, supplied operations support and assisted in trouble shooting for the Oleflex unit. * Developed a self updating material balance for the facility utilizing the online data retrieval system. * Developed the nodes and collected the necessary drawings and documents for the September 2007 Utilities Area HAZOP review. * Initiated, designed and completed a change management package for a thermal PSV addition.
