Appointed as team member in corporate treasury dept, reporting to the General Manager in head office.Locally, reporting to Management and managing a team of treasury specialists and managers in charge of front-office operations. As part of the senior leadership team, overseeing the strategy and planning for treasury matters in the region.The treasury operations will cover the following:1) cash/liquidity management2) review financial risk and implement hedging strategies to mitigate any downside for the business3) ensure compliance with group policies and statutory requirements4) work closely with banks and group companies and maintain a strong relationship to maximise commercial outcome for the Group.Since 2019 till present, assigned to be the project operation lead for the Hitachi Treasury Transformation Project. 60% of time has been allocated for project management to implement SAP S/4HANA TMS, improve the current processes and review the treasury policies. Heavily engaged with different stakeholders including project owners, project managers, external consultants, banks, regional treasury centers, group companies, IT, back office at different stages of implementation. Reporting to the Finance Director.Managed the day-to-day financial operational activities that include managing a group of outsourced accountants in Philippines who were administering the general accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Responsible for all month-end close activities, ensured accurate and timely corporate reporting and variance analysis. Administered the cash flow of the company in accordance to the corporate policy. Liaised with the respective internal and external customers to finalize the SOX audit and annual audit, file corporate tax and GST returns and co-ordinate all corporate secretarial matters.

Reporting to the Financial Controller.Managed the full set of accounts in Singapore, coordinating regional closing and consolidating group results. Assisted the Financial Controller in the preparation of SOX audit, annual audit, corporate taxation matters, renewal of major exporter status and filing of GST return.

Reporting to the Regional Controller.Managing the full set of accounts in the Financial Service Center of some assigned countries in Asia Pacific. Involved in the monthly closing and reviewing of the regional accounts, assisted in the preparation of regional monthly and quarterly reports and reviewed revenue recognized in the region. Prepared bank reconciliation, audit schedules and GST return.
