Work with engineers for supplier selections, components design, and cost negotiations. Perform cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities for Engineers and Marketing for design evaluation Obtain materials, components, equipment and services for internal Customers  Perform Electronic Modules BOM costing, quarterly pricing from preferred suppliers, suppliers enablement, audits and performance rating supply assurance, and ensure continuity of supply for selected programs. RBOM costing analysis for major products as a guidance of design evaluation.  Create and manager reports using Broadcom’s product lifecycle management tool (Agile ) to make cost / supply information available to engineers.  Sample request for Engineers for design.C. Subcontract Manufacturing engagements.  Apply specialized knowledge of contract manufacturing companies work process, from BOM cost review , components purchasing , product assembly process ( SMD ) to shipment of finished product, and retail consumption.  Coordinate purchasing activities with CMs and engineering departments to acquire inventory in cost effective and timely manner. Also recommend cost saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis, alternative sourcing and vendor evaluation.
