Ensures locomotive servicing and overhauls are completed in a timely manner and to the agreed Maintenance Instructions (MI’s). Ensures remanufacturing is completed in accordance with GE requirements and to the latest revisions of GE MI’s. Provide trouble shooting advice to RTIO technicians

 Providing effective safety leadership to the Planning & Scheduling team Leading a team of 15 direct reports Accountable for the maintenance planning for a fleet of:o 11 tug boats, o 4 line boats, o 1 pilot boat, o 14 bulk ore carrier berths across four wharves, o The dredging of all of the shipping channels across four terminals, o 2 Channels and Mooringso Approximately 1400 light vehicles, and o A fleet of heavy haulage equipment (trucks, graders, loaders and bulldozers) Reporting on monthly and quarterly budgets and Commitments Responsible for the development of the 27 month Zero Based Budgeting maintenance plans Ensuring maintenance activities are designed, planned and carried out in accordance with the  Leading and developing the Marine and Mobile Equipment Planning and Scheduling teams to perform the work management and shut down planning and scheduling. Ensuring integrity of SAP master data, and that Bills Of Materials, PM01 task lists and critical spares lists were kept up to date and accurate Improving long term asset health by ensuring that the maintenance execution teams had well planned and scheduled work to complete Identifying and implementing cost saving initiatives to assist the business to achieve production at the right cost  Development of Maintenance Planning team strengths by providing them with appropriate training and development opportunities Defined performance expectations for employees (and contractors) and coached performance against these standards including conducting formal performance appraisals, implementing corrective and improvement actions  Continually providing performance feedback to team members, helping them to improve their performance at work Completing performance assessments for each team member every six months as per the performance management cycle Providing feedback to contracting companies on their performance and attending quarterly review meetings 

Organising and planning multiple jobs with multiple work centres on single pieces of equipment.Track the progress of key tasks and making adjustments to ensure shuts come in on time in a cost effective and safe manner.Co-ordinate pre-shut meetings with operations and maintenance personnel, feedback meetings during the shut, and post-shut review.Maintenance Planning & Scheduling all Tasks required for the shutdown through SAP & MS Project.Proficient in using SAP PM Module.Relief Senior Maintenance Planner – This has given me the opportunity to develop my leadership and communication skills in a management role.
