My job is to change the lives of our clients by gaining suitable and sustainable employment. I work with people with a disability, many people don't know what having a disability means these days, it could be a mild learning disability, back or neck issues in result of a work place injury or car accident and mental health. My job is to find an employer who is understanding and willing to take on our clients and give them a chance. Our clients have many skills and qualifications and are ready to start employment. I love my job, being responsible for changing people's lives for the better is such a great feeling

I worked as this wonderful hotel for almost three years as a second job in addition to my job at Workskills. My role was customer service, pouring beer/drinks and TAB and Keno functions

I did many positions whilst in this organisation including administration/reception/post placement support/reverse marketing/job search training but my primary role was Business Development.

Shellharbour

My role was to run a 3 week training course for clients who were unemployed and looking for work. I would teach them about interview skills, what to say and what not to say, presentation and behaviour and what is expected whilst bring employed. We would do a lot of job searching and I would show them how to do this and where to look, I had some really great groups through out those years and the clients still stop me now and tell them how I changed their lives and what they are all up to now, such a great feeling

Corrimal And Figtree

Started off working for Ralph and Chris when I was 17. I worked 35 hours a week whilst still in school, I never really enjoyed school I would rather be out making money:)My duties were customer service training and supervision and catering. I worked here fulltime after my HSC for a number of years at both stores that they both owned. Now they just own chickos at Figtree and Wollongong.
