I spent 15 years of my career in the field of Advertising and 8 years in Events. I have always thrived on a fast-paced, deadline-driven and changing environment. After my advertising career, I expanded my career when I joined an Event Management company, where I had the opportunity to use my organizational skills, as well as my interpersonal skills. These skills include problem-solving, decision-making, time management, communication and people-engagement. I further used these skills when I worked with World Sport South Africa on the FIA World Rally Championship held at Killarney Race Track. I have worked with Live Company Sports & Entertainment on various Events, that being, The Cape Town Cycle Tour, Pick n Pay Wine & Food Festivals, The Ocean Race and Formula E. Most recently I had the honour of working for Venturescapes Events on the 2024 Betway SA20 cricket, held nation wide. Personally, I have experienced the most growth through challenging experiences and unfamiliar environments. This has allowed me the opportunity to develop on an individual level and adapt my thinking. I strive to always operate in an environment where I can engage with others and be engaged, to inspire my own growth and the growth of those around me. I have competed as a 3rd Dan Martial Artist, at the highest level of sport in South Africa as well as Internationally, at a number of World Championships, winning numerous gold medals. I have also coached South African teams that have competed at various World Championships. I believe that this experience has solidified my foundation of determination, self-discipline, self-growth and adaptability. My passion for understanding how to get the best out of individuals in order to make organizations work effectively, together with my empathy, understanding, ability to engage with people in various environments as well as my many years of experience, is what would make me an asset to any organisation.
