I have been working on and off the stage of Denton Community Theatre (now Theatre Denton -- merged with Music Theatre of Denton) since the summer of 1999, and I continue to seek opportunities to work with this company and its contributions to the theatrical arts in my hometown of Denton. In 2015 I directed "A Feminine Ending" by Sarah Treem for the Point Bank Black Box series, and in September 2017 I directed "Smart Pretty Funny" by Kathleen Anderson Culebro for the same series and venue.Other activities with DCT include: reader/adjudicator for submissions to DCT's Method and Madness Playwriting Competition (as a member of Play Readers of Denton), directing staged readings of winning scripts, and served as co-chair of the planning committee for Method and Madness. Coordinated the social media aspect of the competition and festival, and created accounts on Facebook and Twitter in order to keep the D/FW arts community involved in the activities of the group. In March of 2012, I assistant directed and acted in "Dog Sees God, Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead" as part of the DCT Black Box season. Selected other performances with DCT include "Snoopy!!! The Musical" in April of 2011, co-director and performer in DCT's annual summer fundraiser (Encore III: The Divas!) with DCT managing director Mike Barrow and starred in The Producers in the summer of 2010. Other shows as a performer include Big River, Damn Yankees, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Show Boat, Encore II (a fundraiser), and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. I have also worked as an assistant stage manager for Don't Dress for Dinner and A Tuna Christmas.

Reduced costs when possible for repeat events (buying products at a higher up-front cost that reduced need to rent for each event, ultimately saving money). • Managed social media accounts with TweetDeck, Facebook Pages app, and in-platform scheduling tools and analytics.• Scheduled and conducted tours for prospective students throughout the year and heavily during spring and summer new/transfer student orientation, with face-to-face contact with over 1,000 students each orientation.• Worked with graphic designers to create, plan, and execute events such as Banned Books Readout, Edible Books Competition, The Human Library, and others as needed.• Created and edited copy for website content, library press releases, newsletters, presentations, and regular correspondence.Duties included coordinating the UNT Libraries' social media; scheduling for external groups using the library's Forum; scheduling/conducting orientations for incoming freshmen, transfer, and graduate students; serving as liaison to the Friends of the Library Board; assisting with outreach and marketing for library events. • Prepared, edited, and published the print and online undergraduate and graduate catalogs (print and online). • Disseminated copy for review to departments and offices across campus, managed project timeline for editing and review, and collected to combine and prepare for draft copies of academic catalogs. • Served as a member and administrator to multiple committees to improve the print and online catalogs and the curriculum review process. Created and managed meeting agendas and took minutes to distribute to committee members and administration. The department of Catalog and Curriculum Support is responsible for the creation and maintenance of undergraduate and graduate catalogs online. The department attends University Curriculum Committee (UCC) and Graduate Council (GC) meetings and is directly involved in the curriculum process for undergraduate and graduate students. Individually, my duties also included the role of secretary of the University Curriculum Committee, and I worked closely with the faculty to assist them in the preparation of curriculum changes, assisted in implementing the changes each academic year, and kept physical and digital archives of each meeting.

In my time with the company, I served as producing member for "done/undone" and director for "Said and Done," producing member for "Far Away," director for "Duet" and "Sleepwalkers" (as part of the 2015 Short Works Festival, "We All Make Mistakes: A Drunken Mixtape") and I directed "Jacob Monroe Hates Clowns" in April 2016.
