Elevate's Mission is: Building long-term, life-changing relationships with Indianapolis urban youth, equipping them to thrive and contribute to their community.Role responsibilities:-Teaching Elevate courses at Harshman Middle School and Arsenal Technical High School.-Plan and facilitate after school group and one-on-one activities relating to either Pathways to Purpose/College & Career or Sports & Adventure.-Involve high school students for cross-age mentoring.-Assist with planning and execution of Elevate Indy Summer Bridge program for graduating 8th graders heading into high school.-Conduct regular home and family visits.-Support grant-related student tracking and details by providing accurate Salesforce data.-Fulfill training requirements including: college level on-the-job training in teaching/classroom management, lesson preparation, Salesforce, van driving, child abuse recognition, CPR & First Aid Certification, Youth Mental Health First Aid training, etc.

The mission of TeenWorks is to empower teens to achieve excellence in college, career, and community. TeenWorks provides a six-week summer employment and college readiness program and supportive services for teens throughout the school year. Participating teens build professional resumes, gain job skills for the future, participate in volunteer projects to give back to the community, and receive hands-on instruction to build key college and career readiness skills in areas like technology, finances, and leadership.I support the Summer Program and Development team through student recruitment, program and event coordination, data management, relationship building with both volunteers and partner organizations, and community building.• Strategize and manage student recruitment and serve as a liaison between TeenWorks and recruitment partners• Build and develop partnerships with new organizations• Secure new worksites for the Summer Program• Ensure quality programming by tracking student data and outcomes• Partner with Summer Program Manager to plan, implement, and execute the Summer Program• Oversee the development and management of organization's volunteer program• Assist in fundraising event planning, coordination and execution of events and campaigns• Conduct prospect research for corporate partners and grants• Coordinate and attend community events to promote organizational goals and solicit donations• Work alongside program staff to execute community engagement initiatives

I assisted in developing university relationships and promoting IFSA programs to study abroad professionals, faculty, academic advisors, and students. I provided support to the Institutional Engagement team by traveling extensively within my Field Directors' regions (Northeast USA), visiting partners, and cultivating relationships to grow overall student enrollment in IFSA programs. I maintained connection between the organization and colleges and universities across the country. I made campus presentations to a diverse group of students or faculty; these included information sessions, pre-departure orientations, classroom visits, or presentations to clubs and campus associations.I also assisted the Institutional Engagement and Strategic Marketing teams in efforts to drive enrollment and program approval through research projects, competitor analysis, and business development efforts such as phone calls and scheduling assistance. In conjunction with the Center Director, I networked to establish strong community and school relationships and partnerships to identify resources that serve participants and their families. I developed and implemented comprehensive recruitment strategies and outreach activities to educate the community about the U.S. Dream Academy and the various opportunities to volunteer.

I answer the phone, route calls, take messages; talk to parents, teachers or others to provide or receive routine information, as well as monitor and screen visitors by directing to the appropriate door and providing needed assistance and direction. I also translate documents and interpret for parents or visitors when needed.

US Dream Academy's mission is to "Empower children who are at risk of incarceration to maximize their potential by providing them with academic, social and values enrichment though supportive mentoring and the use of technology."I work in an after school program for at-risk elementary students in efforts to encourage their academic success as well as their general life skills, including anger management, money management, and social skills.

Became certified in Ropes Course Facilitating and taught leadership skills through team building activities, including the use of both a high and low ropes course. I worked with campers from ages 13-18 throughout a six-week camp.

Planned and facilitated work projects for teams that stayed with us for a week. Made and maintained relationships in the community.

As a cabin counselor I was responsible for 12 girls, ages 8-11, from reveille to lights out: waking them up and assuring that they were dressed in time for ranks with their areas ready for inspection, keeping them on time to classes and meals, coaching afternoon sports, attending evening events, and varied duties on the weekends as well as voluntarily taking them into town on permit.
