I was the Commissioner of External Affairs of the 31st board of Footloose, the Eindhoven Student Dance Association with 300+ members. I was in charge of public affairs, organizing workshops, performance opportunities, and 6 committees. Besides this, I took initiative to produce dance videos and take the digital exposure of the association to the next level.

With my team, we participated in the International Genetic Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition of 2019 organized by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), which was held in Boston. Here we competed against 375 other teams for the best synthetic biology project. Our project, about the fast detection of antimicrobial resistance, resulted in 5 nominations: best diagnostic project, best measurement, best basic part, best composite part, best poster and won one of the gold medals!
