As Chief Operating Officer, I bring a strategic approach to driving business expansion, focusing on launching, managing, and scaling operations in new markets. I developed and implemented comprehensive action plans designed to not only sustain profitability but also maximize returns on investment. Continuously assessing operational performance, I identified inefficiencies and initiated effective corrective measures to enhance productivity and overall effectiveness. I managed a broad spectrum of stakeholder relationships, including those with vendors, distributors, retail partners, and industry and trade associations. Additionally, I lead talent acquisition and management in pivotal departments such as social media, sales, and marketing, ensuring alignment with our organization's strategic goals. To align with the company's social goals I serve as a Director for the charitable arm of the Company called, Foods that Heal. The goal of the organization is to provide healthy meals to shelters in the communities where we do business and at the same time reduce the amount of food that is wasted.

Water Resource Management Program

I served as the Chief of Staff at Ontario's Ministry of Research, Innovation, and Science. In this capacity, I was instrumental in shaping the province's policies to stimulate innovation and promote scientific excellence. My role involved offering strategic guidance to the Minister and providing updates to the Premier's Office.I was responsible for maintaining active engagement with academic communities, research organizations, and industry stakeholders. My efforts were geared towards forming partnerships that would catalyze sustainable growth across Ontario's research and technology sectors.Moreover, I managed key relationships with intergovernmental bodies and industry associations, amplifying the Ministry's role and influence in national and international arenas. My leadership extended to a multi-disciplinary team overseeing communications, policy, and public outreach including orchestrating high profile events. These initiatives served to elevate the Ministry’s profile, promote policy goals, and facilitate meaningful engagement among diverse stakeholders.

In my role as Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, I had the privilege of leading a dedicated team of professionals committed to driving sustainable environmental and climate policies. A few of our cornerstone achievements included the development and implementation of a comprehensive 5-Year Climate Action Plan and Water policy including a strategy for the Great Lakes.A significant aspect of my work involved stakeholder engagement, including crucial consultations with First Nations communities and almost every industry sector imaginable to establish a cap-and-trade system for carbon pricing. This collaborative effort for emissions reductions and was a pivotal milestone in our climate action journey.Further expanding our reach, I spearheaded efforts to link our cap-and-trade markets with California and Quebec. This inter-jurisdictional collaboration marked a significant step toward broader, more effective climate action across borders and generated almost $2billion in revenue for the Province.In addition, I was deeply involved with the consultations regarding the Circular Economy Program. This initiative, also developed in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders aimed at promoting sustainable business practices and resource utilization.My role also required close collaboration with policy staff for overseeing environmental assessments and addressing the complexities of contaminated sites, ensuring both regulatory compliance and public safety.On the event front, I organized a high-profile climate summit featuring eminent speakers from across North America. I also assisted in the planning process for the Ministry's role at international conferences, such as COP, to further our environmental and climate goals on a global stage.
