Working within the Employee Health Safety and Wellbeing division my role included onboarding and overseeing a number of pilot and established intervention programs in line with the Principal Health and Wellbeing Strategy. This included the following;* On boarding the departments pilot vicarious trauma program for at risk cohorts including establishing working groups, selection criterion and project KPIs and milestones.* On boarding and managing the principal job design pilot program known as Flourish. Currently being trialled in the Mallee Region, the program aimed to support principals to understand workplace inefficiencies, learn and embed new skills and ultimately improve job satisfaction.* Supporting the transition of the Early Intervention program to a new provider. This included transitioning out the old provider and supporting the new provider to develop strategies, selection criteria, reporting standards and KPIs. * Designing a three tiered model of support to support schools to identify psychological risks and hazards and capture them within their OHSS Risk Register. Working with the departments OHS Advisory Service, questionnaires and template documents were designed to assist schools to easily understand psychological risks relevant to their workplace and identify appropriate risk mitigation strategies.* Supporting the departments Covid Assurance program to ensure psychological factors within work places were appropriately identified.* Providing workshops and training to a number of key areas within the department on managing anxiety through COVID.* Psychological advice and support to other departments on a range of matters including climate change policies, managing psychological risk, reviewing policies to manage suicide/self-harm situations in schools etc.* Writing and proposing the initial multi million dollar business case to reform mental health supports for all school staff.* Providing advice to the director on key psychological issues.
