I started within the industry when I was 21, ready for a proper career. I started my employment at Bridgfords, formerly Bairstow Eves as a Junior Negotiator. Unable to move up the ladder I moved to Entwistle Green where I was made Senior Negotiator, serving 4 years of corporate experience. It was with regret that I had to move closer to home, in Bolton where I joined a local independant estate agency, Darren Bowles where I was given the title of Assistant Manager. Oystons Estate Agents acquired Darren Bowles after a short spate where I was promoted to Branch Manager running a small team, happily driving the branch forward successfully for 7 years!I had always wanted to work for market leaders and Miller Metcalfe were that. I had to take a step down in order to get a foot through the door. I was in! Given the market conditions, at the time, I left after just 12months to go back into corporate, working for almost 3 years at Your Move, covering Walkden as Assistant Manager then was offered Bury Your Move to help drive forward business and assist the manager there.I was then approached by Miller Metcalfe and was given the fantastic opportunity to open up their 10th branch in Horwich! I ran a small team, developed the branch, driving it forward with my wealth of experience and turning the branch into that ‘preferred agent’.I was then approached by a local agent in Bolton, to help grow their business.I can’t wait to get stuck in!
