I’m a freelance Change Maker - Transforming Businesses by building their own capability in Change. I’m a Consultant experienced in designing, developing, teaching and coaching method agnostic principles and practical approaches to Change Management, Programme and Project Management, Business Improvement and Transformation. I bring passion and energy into the workplace; helping people and organisations to learn to leverage practical change tools & techniques to deliver change that achieves results and sticks. I’m passionate about making change less impactful and stressful, but achievable so it benefits your customers, business and people too! I have 25+ years experience of deploying all levels of Change from cultural and strategic change to continuous improvement and am a certified Change Management Master Practitioner and Programme and Project Management Master Practitioner. I have a strong reputation for quickly assessing a need and proposing a solution that fits the priorities and for quickly building deep trusted relationships through honesty, integrity and authentic engagement. I was the inaugural chair of the Business Improvement apprenticeship trailblazer Employer Development Group and led the development of a suite of Business Improvement and transformation apprenticeships across over 100 leading UK Employers of all industries and public sectors and continue to support the current chair as a member of the steering committee.

    I've expanded my role and responsibilities to now include the integrated approach to Programme and Project Management and Change Management for BT. Leading our consultants in developing a fully integrated, principle based method agnostic approach to delivery programmes and projects in a way that enables cultural and behavioural change to sustain for maximised return on investment. And I've led the development of this into a certification pathway which has external academic accreditation. The PPM training I've led the design for has been accredited by APM. I've developed a simple approach to planning change that focuses on proactive management of the change with tangible outcomes rather than traditional reactive stakeholder management. The approaches I design and teach to delegates are based on practical application, rather than theoretic models, but all founded on proven principles.These approaches are embedded into the products and services GT Practice provide to internal and external delegates alike. And they're endorsed by both BQF and Alliance Manchester Business School and feature in collaborative products we offer with them.I design bespoke capability development solutions for both internal and external delegates and I'm currently working with organisations in broadcasting, construction, travel, financial sector and customer service designing graduate capability development programmes in project management and transformation. In BT I provide point of use capability development and transfer through action learning during major change and cultural transformation programmes. Developing capability of change delivery teams during the programmes they're working on. I'm chairing a multi industry Employer Development Group to develop a transformation apprenticeship trailblazer, with multiple roles across several levels of apprenticeship, including role standards, learning pathways and end point assessments.
