I proudly served as one of the inaugural Mandarin Teachers at The Dalton School, a visionary institution established in 2012 as a pioneering dual-language English-Mandarin private school situated in the heart of midtown Toronto. With a focus on nurturing young minds from Junior Kindergarten through Elementary, The Dalton School holds the distinction of being Toronto’s first dual language school.I am proud to have contributed to the school's mission of empowering students with bilingualism and cross-cultural competence, preparing them for success in our interconnected world. As a Mandarin Teacher, I played an integral role in pioneering the Two-Way Immersion approach that promoted bilingualism and cultural understanding. Guiding students through their formative years I taught in all levels from Junior Kindergarten to Elementary.

The Toronto Mandarin School is one of the largest Chinese language schools in Toronto where students learn to understand and appreciate the Chinese language and culture. I first started to work as a teacher in Canada working as a Mandarin educator at the Toronto Mandarin school where I also built up my knowledge of the English language.
