Documentation Engineer working to grow and evangelize the developer documentation for Business Messaging, which includes the following: WhatsApp Business Platform, Instagram Messaging API, and Messenger API. As a documentation engineer, I regularly partner with a variety of XFN partners to:- Build relationships and help promote and foster developer documentation activities- Use data, experiments, and customer feedback to improve the effectiveness of our developer documentation- Write and test interactive code snippets for the developer documentation- Work with internal product teams to provide relevant and actionable feedback from the perspective of a documentation engineer, adhering to well-known best practices, tools, and techniques- Integrate relevant data on product usage, product telemetry, and service data together to identify complex patterns, generate hypotheses, and build a plan to change the product- Determine and lead many process improvements to quickly scope insights- Satisfy customer requirements, such as resolving support tickets in a timely manner - Contribute, prioritize, and deliver on the roadmap for multiple feature areas - Understand the value proposition for the multiple feature areas and answer technical questions about them- Act as a technical advisor to educate and evangelize the feature areas engineers work on with customers via meetings and presentations- Ensure alignment between the customer, the market, internal stakeholders, and the goals of and strategy of Meta

I worked as an API & Integration specialist where I provided guidance and project management with APIs. I led the development of APIs and standing up of integration platforms using MuleSoft and Kafka, training many teams in the process. In addition as part of the operations world, I supported any applications related to this space to ensure issues were resolved promptly and root causes were documented.
