I make beautiful timeless heirlooms that can be removed when you shift homes. I used only genuine hand-cut stained glass, led and solder joins. Hand-painted detail is done with crushed glass and kiln-fired, all done by hand just as it was 1000 years ago.Windows can be fixed into home doors and windows or free hanging. My gallery/workshop space is filled with stained glass windows, jewellery, fused plate-glass sculptures, melted bottles and other artforms along with classes.My workshop is open to the public, so people can see how these items are made or join in a class.I taught for Tafe in Australia in the 1980s and I have made 1000's of stained glass windows having had galleries in Australia at Redcliffe, Margate, Brisbane city and Milton. I was one of only two accredited lead lighters by the Queensland government and a preferred repairer for Insurance Companies. I am giving free counselling as a volunteer at the Dargaville Baptist Church. Clients can come from all walks of life and age stages. Christianity is not discussed in counselling unless it is desired by the client and all spiritual/religious backgrounds are welcome. As a tutor, I motivated adult students and youth to successfully develop skills for employment. We filled placements, co-ordinated and managed courses as well as taught and ran the cafe. Outcomes were successful with students obtaining employment prior to and after finishing the courses.
