At SSRIA, I worked on creating a catalogue to increase visibility for low-carbon products. I also worked on outreach to SSRIA members to collect information. One of my tasks with creating the catalogue was researching non-member companies to see if they would want to contribute. Lastly, I worked on creating template designs to write the copy for all assets, such as email templates and content editing. I also worked on writing features for new companies joining the membership program and had them published on their website.

At Etched in Marketing I work on helping small business in content creation such as including social media posts, blog posts, and promotional emails. Not to mention working on the graphics, photos and video creations for different businesses.

From 2023 to 2024, I was the Outreach Coordinator for Reach for the Stars. Reach for the Stars is a networking event for students to meet potential employers and kickstart their careers. As the Outreach Director, I developed communication plans, marketing plans, and team manual templates. Not to mention being the team lead, taking care of the event's organization, and figuring out how to increase numbers within the panellists and the student list.

At PlanIt Sound, I worked on implementing and improving the social media presence of their COO. As their main account focuses on their podcast and videography selection, the COO wanted their account to focus on their event planning. I could improve their presence at multiple events by creating calendars and content plans. I would also go in person to each event to capture the content needed to post in real-time. I would also assist the event managers if more hands were required for specific events. This meant handling event crises and communicating with the event clients and other managers.

At my Co-op for Air Canada, I worked remotely from Edmonton. Some of my duties include collecting content, developing assets and copywriting for Air Canada Foundation Instagram account, monitoring and managing ACF’s communications internally and assisting in communications reports. This included copywriting, posting, and responding to inquiries. Most of the posts made on ACF were to help amplify ACF partnerships on social media and event promotions. I also help audit the ACF website to help navigate their target audience and keep the website up to date. Other initiatives would be helping increase storytelling, raising awareness, driving fundraisers and building stakeholder engagement.

During my time with Starbucks, I maintained regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation. I also worked early mornings, weekends, and holidays while meeting the store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling, store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation. I also engage with and understand the customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication. Another task that I had to do while working there was preparing food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature changes and the number of ingredients used in drinks.

Reach for the Stars is an event created by students that encourage other students to network with industry professional in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing and Journalism. As the Social Media and Digital Marketing Coordinator, I created content calendars and branded the event on various social media platforms. Not to mention also leading the volunteers and organizing the event alongside two other students. I also worked in the outreach position, inviting and finding those industry professionals to attend the event.
