Head teacher for mixed classroom ages 3-5; acting director

*Teaching PreK3 Monday through Friday. Preschool runs daily from 9 to 11:30am-Includes Morning Meeting circle time with calendar, weather, counting, and alphabet-Riding Room and/or outdoor playground large motor playtime with structured activities-Encourage socialization, good hygiene, manners, and table etiquette during snack/lunch-Daily story time, music and movement opportunities, and spatial relations (puzzles, blocks, etc)-Fine motor skills at use for writing, coloring, cutting, pasting, and additional craft projects-Also includes monthly calendar and newsletter creation, daily communication with parents, discipline (time out/stop and think) as needed*Childcare Hours 730am through 530pm-Includes early morning art project and school/classroom chores-Lunch preparation, tooth brushing and toileting supervision-Nap/rest time for children with lesson planning time if possible-Daily afternoon activities, particularly Spanish language introductionSkills: lesson planning, time management, creativity, flexibilityAlso occasional hug giving, band aid applying, and nose blowing

-Working with college students on the autism spectrum for academic planning, time management, study skills-Communication with professors and college staff as well as student's family and other support systems

-Teacher's Aide for two PreK3 classrooms and occasional PreK4-Substitute teacher as neededEarly Childhood Center Campus closed June 2014 due to budget

-Daycare provider for infants through age 5-Multiple teaching/care giving roles for various age groups-Additional responsibilities of lunch preparation for approximately 15-20 children per day and general facility cleaning
