As the owner of a recruitment agency with 13 years of experience in the CRE and AEC industries, I manage a broad range of responsibilities. I am deeply involved in talent acquisition, from identifying and screening candidates to maintaining a robust talent pool. My expertise lies in understanding client needs and matching top talent with companies like CBRE, Swinerton, Clark, Abbott, BCRA, DPR, Splice, and One Workplace. In addition to sourcing and onboarding candidates, I also negotiate offers and assist with smooth transitions for new hires. On the business development side, I actively acquire and manage client relationships, negotiate contracts, and stay informed about industry trends. Leading my team of recruiters, I optimize processes, ensure compliance, and leverage technology to enhance operations. I also focus on branding and marketing, developing a strong industry presence, creating content, and participating in events to attract clients and candidates. Financial management is key, as I handle budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting to ensure the agency's profitability. Finally, I engage in strategic planning to grow the business, establish partnerships, ensuring the long-term success of my agency.

In order to provide a comprehensive service to my network and my city, I sought and achieved licensure as a Real Estate Broker. During this period, I worked concurrently in recruitment and commercial real estate, providing a unique dual service to the market. My responsibilities and achievements included:- Founding and leading the "Revive Downtown" group, a collective of city council members, architects, general contractors, and other influential individuals committed to revitalizing Tacoma.- Collaborating closely with the Economic Development Department of Tacoma to usher influential companies interested in establishing an office in the city. This process further solidified my position as a trusted and influential figure within the city's development landscape.- Successfully placing several tenants during my tenure, leveraging my deep understanding of the local market, negotiation skills, and network to secure beneficial arrangements for all parties.- Maintaining full autonomy over my work at Better Properties Proctor, which provided me the flexibility to focus on both recruitment and real estate concurrently.While this role further broadened my experience in the real estate sector, I found that my true passion and primary focus lay within recruitment. Alongside my professional role in recruitment, I have also pursued a passion for residential real estate investing.
